ABOUT US:

Aurora Engineering & Construction Services is locally owned, and has been in operation in Northeastern British Columbia since 2002.  We are located in Fort St. John, BC, and we have been providing a range of geotechnical engineering services focusing on slope stability, erosion and sediment control, and construction work near rivers and streams.  Our assignments frequently include response to landslides and erosion, investigation and preliminary design for pipeline installations using HDD methods, desktop feasibility studies, geotechnical design for roads and other earthmoving projects, site evaluation and soil sampling, field construction supervision and inspection, and monitoring of geotechnical instrumentation.

Our staff members each have more than 20 years of experience working in Northern and Central British Columbia as well as Northwestern Alberta, and we are familiar with the challenges of operating in northern and remote locations.

Aurora Engineering & Construction Services geotechnical engineering staff is registered with Engineers & Geoscientists British Columbia (E.G.B.C.) as well as the Association of Professional Engineers & Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).  We are SECOR certified through Energy Safety Canada (formerly Enform), and we are registered with ComplyWorks and ISNetworld.
