EROSION:

​

• Geotechnical design of site grading and drainage control initiatives to reduce the chance of erosion and sediment transport.

 

• General site supervision and geotechnical engineering support for the installation of erosion protection, rock armouring and sediment control measures.

​

• Evaluation of existing erosion protection and sediment control structures to identify possible deficiencies.

 

• Design and implementation of erosion control measures using specialized geotextiles, cable concrete, rock armouring (riprap), erosion matting, synthetic sediment retention materials and revegetation including hydroseeding, willows and other methods.

 

• Geotechnical evaluation of potential for erosion and sediment transport given specific site conditions including soil type(s), slope gradients and water flows.
