  • Geotechnical evaluation of proposed directionally drilled pipeline crossings of creeks/rivers/wetlands/steep slopes.


  • Preliminary crossing profile and drill path development including depth of cover, entry and exit point locations, entry and exit angles, casing recommendations, drilling fluid and equipment considerations.

  • Access planning, test drilling equipment procurement and implementation of geotechnical investigations for trenchless crossings up to 2,000m in length, including surficial outcrop mapping, test borehole drilling and shallow geophysical surveys.

  • Test borehole logging, soil sampling and geological interpretation of subsurface conditions.


  • Geotechnical engineering support in all phases of the crossing construction from route and alignment planning to product pipe installation.
